The Ronix 29″ High Aspect Velo w/ Blackbird is an elite-level complete wakefoil setup combining the ultra-light 29″ Velo carbon mast, High Aspect 1010 cm² front wing, 135 cm² stabilizer, 39 cm Link fuselage and highly reactive Blackbird Superconductor foil board. Designed for riders seeking maximum speed, glide, pumping efficiency and precision through aggressive turns and wave transfers.
Ronix Wakefoils
The Ronix 29″ High Aspect Velo w/ Blackbird represents the highest level of performance in the Ronix wakefoil lineup.
Built around advanced carbon construction, extremely efficient High Aspect foil geometry and the ultra-reactive Blackbird Superconductor board, this complete setup is designed specifically for foilers who want maximum speed, glide and control behind the boat.
Every component has been developed to work together as one high-performance system, delivering fast acceleration, efficient pumping, tight banked turns and the ability to transfer multiple waves behind the boat.
High Aspect 1010 cm² Front Wing
The High Aspect 1010 front wing combines a thin, wide profile with advanced spread-tow carbon construction.
It is designed to deliver:

- reduced drag
- strong acceleration
- excellent energy retention
- efficient pumping
- tight arcing turns
- controlled wave transfers
Unlike many High Aspect wings designed primarily for open-ocean conditions, Ronix developed this wing specifically around the requirements of wakefoiling.
The result is impressive top-end speed and glide without sacrificing the low stall speed and tight turning characteristics needed behind a boat.
29″ Velo Carbon Mast
The Velo Mast is Ronix’s premium 29″ high-performance mast.
Ronix developed a new core that significantly reduces weight while maintaining the fast reaction and turning characteristics of the previous design. According to Ronix, the new construction reduces weight by up to approximately one pound while producing a stiffer and more reactive mast.
Its advanced spread-tow carbon layup is engineered to minimize unwanted torsional flex.

High Aspect 135 cm² Rear Stabilizer

Integrated tapered winglets help reduce turbulence while maintaining grip through loaded turns.

- maintain aggressive banking angles

39 cm Link Fuselage
The compact 39 cm Link fuselage connects the mast, front wing and stabilizer through a highly rigid and hydrodynamically efficient platform.
Constructed using Ronix’s premium autoclave and Shadow Carbon manufacturing techniques, the Link is designed to maximize:

The shorter performance-oriented design helps create the quick, reactive feel expected from a high-end foil.
Blackbird Superconductor Foil Board
The Blackbird is not simply a lightweight foil board. Ronix developed it specifically around maximum energy transfer and responsiveness.
Its Superconductor construction combines an unusually dense PVC foam core with a full carbon layup.
This creates:
- extremely direct rider-to-foil connection
- explosive pumping response
- fast recovery
- precise turning
- high energy transfer
A recessed deck positions the rider deeper into the board, creating a secure and connected stance during aggressive turns and powerful pumping.
The V-bottom with exaggerated bevels also helps the board deflect cleanly from the water during touchdowns and recoveries.
